As a convenience to family members and friends who are arriving from out of town, we’ve compiled a list of some of the lodging and other options near the funeral home.

Florists

Important Tips:

  • Florists typically require 24 hour advanced notice to fulfill your order.
  • Please call your florist as soon as possible to ensure that they can fulfill your request.
  • Most local florists close by noon on Saturday. You may be able to get a floral arrangement from Kroger’s or a plant from a nursery at the last minute.
  • Consider buying a specialty gift, like a wreath, silk flower/candle arrangement, grapevine cross etc. from a local boutique or Primitive Store.
  • Be careful buying flowers online (like Teleflora). You usually get less value for your money, and the participating florists are not local and don’t deliver.

Receiving solicitations for a loved one who has died can be painful. To assist families, the DMA created the “Deceased Do Not Contact List” (DDNC) for the sole purpose of removing names and addresses from their marketing lists.
